Gerrard hurt me as a fan a few years ago, and took away my faith in football. Im made up that terry has got it. I dont want gerrard to have all of the england complications that would come with being a captain. The cole story is true. He was a left winger coming through the ranks and arsenal where going to let him leave. Silvinho got injured, and cole was the only player able to cover on the left hand side. He worked his a*** off and impressed everyone. thus keeping his place ending up in him becoming the first choice left back and silvinho leaving.
