These hydration breaks are a disgrace on a number of levels. This better not be the direction of travel.
-
By all accounts we are willing to pay him more and PSG aren't ready to commit to any deal yet. You reckon we'd do that again
-
We won't be bidding if he hasn't given us the green light. Hopefully get this wrapped up soon. Good start to the window.
-
Presume he won't be the only forward we sign this summer.
-
Van Hecke to Spurs £52m

Bouaddi looked great. They all did tbf - Brahim Diaz in particular. We defo need Barcola and Diomande. Even if Gakpo stays. The only concern selling Gakpo is that he can do a job down the middle which is useful. We need another hybrid option. Isak, Barcola, Diomande, Gakpo, Ngumoah still looks light though especially with Isak's fitness issues. We are fcked basically unless we spent another colossal amount this summer.
-
Imagine there's very little chance of this. We need three forwards without selling anyone.
-
The only argument for more game time last season is because the forward options were virtually non-existent. It Hughes does his job properly this summer Ngumoha should be getting even less game time next season.

People have short memories. Nunez is a mentality midget and has a very low footballing IQ. Constantly offside, misses countless 1 on 1s and is dreadful in the buildup. He's only effective when he operates on instinct. Can be a liability as well with his temperament. In short, fck off with the Nunez shouts.
-
Two different types of midfielders. I'd keep Jones but it's not as simple as you make out.
-
C'mon what? They both flopped last season for different reasons. Isak is premier proven elite but his body looks like it is fcked. He struggled to run all season. Hopefully he's fitter next season and avoids injuries. Loads of people have said Wirtz is a generational talent. He didn't show that last season. I like the look of him at times but he needs to improve massively. Hopefully a change of manager and system helps him. I'm not writing either off but they cost a combined £250M. So yeah, they were expensive duds whether you like it or not.
-
Isak and Wirtz. They might come good but last season was massively underwhelming from the pair of them. Frimpong wasn't too expensive but looks like he can only play wing back. We need players who will hit the ground running. Ekitike was the only one who managed it. Kerkez grew into the shirt and is fine. Looking forward to Iraola coaching him again.
-
Yes please. We should be all over him.
-
Seems an awful lot of money for an inexperienced lad from the Bundesliga. Hope he's worth it but Hughes had a shocker last summer. We can't afford anymore expensive duds.
-
It's not the same as when Klopp came in but it's not the same as when Slot arrived either. It's somewhere inbetween. The squad is much worse than the one Slot inherited.
-
It's not as binary as this. Apart from there being no agreed definition for what a challenge is, you just need something to buy into or what's the point?
-
Romano has Here We Go'd it for Iraola.
-
Feels like a big mistake this. We've got more to do this summer than last year. Which is ridiculous.
-
I'd cut out losses on him. He's not very good at running and/or staying fit.
-
Just the start of something special. Got to lose it to win it. We'll be back. Doubt it lads. Their turgid football got what it deserved.
-
Wrong thread.
-
Where's that gif of Gabriel fcking about with his pocket? Laura Woods and Keown crest fallen. Real shame.
-
Can I shock you? I like association football again.
-
Loads of work needed at the top end of the pitch. Don't see how Isak works. Midfield needs legs as well. For all the talk of Rayan and Jr Kroupi I think Alex Scott would be more important if Iraola is bringing anyone with him. Think we scouted him at Bristol. Never really happens though, does it?
-
Enrique please. Alsonso clearly never in the running. Iraola would be good, I think.
