I know where you're coming from Kev re: morally. There's been an undercurrent of disbelief regarding the seriousness of Kewell's injuries/willingness to play. Not helped by seeing him out and about, on holiday, socialising etc. But, we have to give him the benefit of the doubt, so long as he's genuinely match-fit. If he's nearly there, on the bench he goes. He might only have enough juice for a 30 minute stint in the second half, we might just need that, we might only need that. I trust Rafa to make the right choice - we can't have it both ways - he's the best manager for years, one of the best in the world etc, yet we also know better than him when it comes to team selection. Rafa and his support crew will be watching him in training, talking to him most days until Athens, and if can convince them he's up to it, that's good enough for me.
