Zhirkov is a very good player, they have a new, highly organised, manager and finished last season as strongly as us - I suspect they will be a major threat despite the lack of volume of new signings and it being Ancelotti's first season. Disappointed and sad that such a good player and fan favourite has, for whatever reasons, decided to leave. On the positive side, and putting aside all unrealistic bravado, I am extremely pleased with the money we have got for him 30m € or £. I have no doubt that we will take time to adjust and recruit the players to facilitate the next step forward BUT have every confidence that as a team/squad this is a good opportunity to improve. Happy memories - off for a pint.
