We are back in for Crouch but he doesn't want back in. I never get insider info as I have practically no links but this is true. I have a link to this player, it's tenuous but I trust the person who imparted the info. He wants Spurs or Milan - apparently 10 Premiership clubs are in for him.
Same record as us over the last 6 league games - i just felt they were a much better team than earlier in the season and the return of Essien moved them up a level.
I think Chelsea were the form team at the close of last season - a change of manager may well give them the drive to have a good start. Man United will be there - we'll have to be our very best in order to get even close. Glass is always half-empty for me - we're good but any complacency and we'll be 3rd/4th again.
Wouldn't surprise me in the least to see him playing RM if Kuyt is out or Torres is and Kuyt is up front - good work ethic, can defend (allegedly) and cross the ball.
to quote many a teacher, parent and employer...... "I'm not angry Michael, I am very disappointed" can't blame him for taking the opportunity but you have to really question his judgement and that of his advisors re: his legacy as a player.
Think you're spot on. I am in the camp of "keep Xabi at all costs" so don't really understand Rafa's preference for Mascherano as a more valuable asset.
