Yea, definitely a retro theme for the 3rd kits. Arsenal's new away kit is nothing like any other template though, in terms of the pattern. Our away seems to be a unique template also. Our home is actually very similar to Utd and Newcastles home though, from a template point of view. Whenever adidas do that we always seem to get the worst one. They struggle with us just being red.

Yep. Everyone knows Newcastle are not a big club. They're at a real crossroads up there. Realisation that despite wealthy owners they're very limited. Wouldn't surprise me if PSR is ripped to shreds soon. The Premier League "brand" will be desperate for these big owners to NOT f*** off to other clubs/countries. Which is also why City's punishment will be carefully managed.

I think Newcastle's "clear" response was 'not until we've signed someone'. The only facts here are; - Liverpool have bid - Newcastle have rejected it - Isak is nowhere near their squad. - We know Newcastle need and want a striker anyway (they bid for Ekitike). We can assume; - Isak wants to join us. - Liverpool have only bid because they feel confident about the situation. All a dance isn't it.

Am I right in saying Newcastle have not said hes not for sale, just rejected the bid? Also, transfer window ends after we play them? Biggest issue for me here in terms of us getting him is that off the pitch Newcastle are a mess. There is literally nobody there capable of managing the selling of Isak or the acquisition of any replacement/s. He clearly wants out, they should work quickly with us to agree an acceptable fee otherwise they are f***ed. The realisation that they're not actually a big club will be hitting fans and players alike at the moment. Nobody of note wants to go there. I'm still amazed the owners haven't said f*** it and just spent like Chelsea, then deal with suspended transfer windows / small points deductions later.
