I reckon hes off to Portsmouth. I am a big fan of his but when I read that piece in the times a few weeks ago where he said he wanted to back to Southampton in October 2005 because he hadn't scored I really began to question his ambition and confidence. He's replaceable in the squad so it wont be a major loss. Ashton would be my choice too.

His second touch is a tackle.

He's a player I really don't like. I think he is a dirty snidey little git but over the past month I have not seen a better midfielder in Europe

Hes a disaster.

Why the hell wouldn't you want Man Utd to lose?? Stupid question. Hope Chelsea stuff them

I don't want him anywhere near our club again.

He had his chance and f***ed it up.

Would the mancs be interested in him?? Kind of makes sense

Amazing manager.

Follow him to Spurs

Klinsmann or Hiddink will get it.

Hes not gone yet. Meant to be at a last ditch meeting now

On SSN now.

I'll refute my first post and panic

Agger will be back for Everton & Arsenal if its a 4 week injury.

Hyypia will do a good job for us so I don't know what the panic is about. Bar the first 10 minutes last night I thought he was solid and I don't expect any of our upcoming opponents putting us under that kind of pressure.

Its been a pretty poor first round of games.

I heard the Portuguese FA want him to coach the national team.

Not sure why people are bothered about what other people say tbh. I have my own views and they won't change after listening to some washed-up ex footballer.

Happy with the result. The performance kind of throws the squad rotation argument out the window though

We've been playing in Europe for long enough to know what to expect.
