  1. All Adam. He was rightly aggressive with it on Sunday night.
  2. Jarg Armani's sorted it. Fairground Attraction. Perfect. We've got Ra-he-he-he-heem Sterling We've got Ra-he-he-he-heem Sterling yeah Too many people take second best But I won't take anything less We've got Raheem, yeah, Ster-er-er-erling
  3. 4-3-3 surely. Johnson Skrtel Sakho Flanagan Leiva Gerrard Allen Coutinho Suarez Sterling
  4. Basically I've enjoyed watching them disappear one at a time. I'd like Chelsea to go next. We play Chelsea with three to go. If we could face them between their European games with them knowing that a win against us would still leave them a point behind with two games left *and* that they are aiding City more than helping themselves then they will be more focused on Europe. Rightly, frankly. That helps us get that one nailed. Still think if we win the next three we win it.
  5. Would rather Sunderland took points off Chelsea than off City.
  6. Opens a host of philosophical questions that. Not least "what are we?"
  7. That includes both Moses and Cissokho who are on loan. So of players we own we're on fourteen. Interesting City and Chelsea have done it to this point with 18 and 17.
  8. I think if you have Henderson, Allen, Gerrard, Lucas and, say, Will Hughes, you are picking two from five most games. Coutinho is much more of a centre mid than the first 1 in a 4411 as well. That's enough. It's about the profile. You don't want to sign someone on the basis they come in and play. Sign someone on the basis they come in and work. I'd be looking at using Wisdom and Ilori in the squad proper next year at the expense of Toure.
  9. I understand where you are coming from but if you add a big senior proper centre midfielder then you conceivably create problems. I'd try and manage next season with a youngster at most, focus the money on other areas and then replace Gerrard the following summer. Alternatively sell Lucas. But I wouldn't do that if we could avoid it.
  10. Yes, trust that flexibility covers you and if it doesn't then trust that the young lads from the reserves cover you. As I say, I think 19 players works.
  11. I'd buy two lads ideally under 24 who can excel between the lines in wide areas. I'd like one to be able to do a job in centre mid, the other able to do a job at centre forward.
  12. I think you can do it with a very flexible 19 outfield players.
  13. I understand exactly where you are coming from.
  14. While I think Sunderland will be a t*** of a game for them I don't think it will happen at home. Palace away the next big chance.
  15. It's why (and it's off topic) I think getting players who can play a variety of positions and then keeping the squad as small as possible (certainly in the front 6 positions) will help. I'd only add two recognised internationals who can play in at least two positions of the 3 in a 4231, upgrade Aspas for Borini and maybe - and it is a maybe - add a young central midfielder along the lines of Will Hughes.
  16. That's why it is good they play Palace the other side of us. We've just beaten Chelsea. You fancy it against Pulis's boys in their ground?
  17. Completely agree. I'm not saying it is easy management at all. As Rodgers said a couple of weeks ago, Suarez makes him earn his money.
  18. I think Rodgers has achieved this by keeping people together and you risk that by making unlikely big calls now. He has his players he can make big calls around - Sturridge not Suarez; Lucas, Allen and Coutinho not Gerrard or Henderson; Sakho, Agger and Toure, not Skrtel. It's part of the reason why we need to be careful in the market and not swamp the squad with loads of big players in the summer. At the minute Sturridge just about accepts the idea he plays second fiddle to Suarez in the same way the manager speaks of Aspas accepting he is far behind the two of them. Rooney accepted it with reference to Ronaldo but clearly hasn't with van Persie as a comparison. Bring in someone well better than Aspas who effectively competes with Sturridge and there's every chance it could cause trouble.
  19. Probably because I'm talking about as much the way he pinged the ball around. And yeah, I agree with that on the Stevie comment but Suarez treated it as though the lives of 45,000 people including his family depended on it rather than just his own life as per usual. Someone needs to find the way to get him that tiny bit calmer for Norwich and especially Chelsea.
  20. I think it can go either way player by player. I think the increased intensity at the weekend didn't suit Suarez and Sturridge (in different ways) whereas it did Skrtel, Sakho, Sterling, Flanagan etc.
  21. I was Mr Zen (as I have been since Arsenal/Fulham) until City decided to be good second half. I'm hoping to return there by the end of the week but I am a bag of nerves now. Certain nerves - in that I genuinely think we are winning the league - but nerves nonetheless. And yes, I agree with this. If Chelsea can Chelsea against us, well done to them.
  22. Bar Snodgrass who really weirdly has a goal in him. One of the strangest players in the league. And you couldn't be more right. Norwich are getting taken to the cleaners. No backward steps.
  23. He should watch Norwich from our end.
  24. Mignolet Skrtel Gerrard
  25. Hahahaha!
