It's exactly this kind of thing that Rafa and/or Parry are trying to change. If Dudek was a Tottenham player, how much would they sell him for? I see no reason why we shouldn't sell for the same amount. If we let quality internationals like Dudek leave for pennies, we probably won't be able to afford that little bit extra to get the player(s) we want. It's a vicious circle, which Rafa & Rick are trying hard to break.

We should've signed a Right Winger in the summer. We didn't. Window is now open again, but its more difficult because clubs are reluctant to sell now. It looks like Rafa is not too bothered if we miss out again, but if we do then it will be a priority in the summer.

Did anyone see Gerrard breaking away & having a fit at Xabi because he didn't pass when struck his second? After a couple of double takes he realised he'd just witnessed a piece of brilliance and applauded!!

It's means he's started more on the bench than on the field. By my count he's made 16 starts, and 18 on the bench (or not in the squad)

Just making the point that maybe Djibs deserves a few more starts than he's getting... it's true though - you can't argue with the results

I made a point of looking around to see who was booing, and what the general reaction was... and to be honest most people didn't give a hoot. I yelled f*** OFF to the c***s who were booing but I didn't hear any others... As for the chants, pretty much everyone in the Kop sang "Wheres your European Cup" & "You could've signed for a big club" Also, did anyone notice that Owen was the last one off the pitch.... Carra was talking to him. Souey was waiting on the touchline and prodded him towards the tunnel... making sure he didn't leave him behind
