  1. Yep, we should sign him for that alone.
  2. Totti doesn't like him.
  3. I think the most expensive player was Christian Poulsen when FC Copenhagen sold him to Schalke in 2002. The fee was undosclosed but believed to be around £4m. Ebbe Sand was signed by Schalke from Brøndby in 1999 for around £3.2m which was a record fee at the time. So £5m or £5.5m would make Agger the most expensive player sold by a danish club unless I've forgotten someone.

  5. I have "The Road To Istanbul" 2xDVD and it's really good. It's got the build up, the final, the celebrations and some clips from homecoming. And on disc 2 it's got all the highlights from all our games in the competition. Definately a good purchase.
  6. The £5.5m being reported would make him the most expensive player ever sold by a Danish club.

  8. They've conceeded 10 goals now. What a crappy defence.
  9. Liverpool completed their first signing of 2006 on New Years Day when youngster Paul Anderson officially became a Reds player following a trial period at the club. The former Hull City winger arrives at Anfield as part of the deal that sees John Welsh move in the opposite direction. A highly-rated 17-year old, Anderson has impressed in several appearances for the reserves and also caught the eye in the recent FA Youth Cup victory over Cardiff. Born in Leicester, he joined Hull as a trainee and was spotted by Liverpool scouts when playing for the Tigers' Academy side. from the Offal
  10. From the BBC: Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse is a minor doubt with a muscle injury but he should be fit to play some part.
  11. He's got a big ass tattoo on his leg. The WBA game was the first time I've noticed. Has he had that for a long time?
  12. A front line of Crouch and Rooney is quite interesting.
  13. If you're in a hole, stop digging.

  15. We can't know how good they are when we don't have quality competition for their places. Apparently.

  17. Except for a few glimpses here and there the Everton match was the first sign I've seen of him actually fitting into the system and working hard for the team. He'll need to do that every time he gets the chance, not just when he can be bothered, and he might have a future here.

  20. That makes no sense. Unless you never watch him play.
  21. Some great clips there, thanks.
  22. Drank my Chelsea mate under the table after teh game last night. Even got him to admit that Rafa is a better manager than Mourinho. He doesn't remember a thing this morning though. Or atleast that's what he says.
  23. Can't wait till he scores one of those. He's come real close a few times already.
  24. Sounds interesting. I'll see if I can find anything anywhere. EDIT: The guy on TLW says it's made the sports headlines in Denmark but it hasn't, so it's probably BS. Atleast I can't find it anywhere.
  25. Everton - Liverpool photos Posts merged: I love the one of Momo, Xabi and Finnan chasing Stevie. He looks like a happy school boy.
