Of course it is. Spending money guarantees you nothing. It's how you spend it which is the difference between Rafa and GH or Rafa and Newcastle's manager, whoever it may be. And the moeny we spent was by Parry's own admission a gamble that we got in to the CL group stages. It wasn't money we had in the bank. They were gambling money to come. WQhich is fine at the right moment - speculate to accumulate and all that.

a. You can't rely on Rafa being here for ever. He is the reason we are not being left behind. b. it is hardly set in stone that we have come up with the money for the new stadium is it??? Far from it.

I am not and have never been a supporter of Morgan. I just don't jump on the bandwagon that he is a demon because all of you lot say he is. My mind is open but I don't know enough about him to make an informed decision. So shove that up your a3se. On the other hand, if you and others like you don't like him then he may not be a bad thing. At least it will probably mean he isn't a liberal apologist.

I just think it's the party line for many reds to hate and loathe Morgan, while many of them know feck all about him. I saw him kick off at a share meeting back in 2000, and I have to say that I and the vast majority of the audience completeley agreed with everything he was saying. It was mainly having a pop at the running of the club by Moores and how we were lagging behind.
