I agree, but given that one L vG was manager I suspect the poster may have been being ironic. At least I hope so. In autumn 95 that Ajax side went to Real Madrid in the CL, won 2-0 and absolutely battered them. I seem to recall them being given a standing ovation by the Bernebau crowd.

Agreed. He's a bit hit and miss but when he's good he's really outstanding. He's also got the kind of iron self-confidence and gigantic ego that puts belief into whole clubs. He's fairly good at starting arguments and takes no rubbish.

Agreed. You can tell from everything the Barca players say about Messi that they are completely in awe of him. Even Xavi refused to compare Messi to any other player because that player would come out of the comparison so badly.

Dein apparently wanted the age of retirement of the FA job raised (it's currently 70, Dein's 67). Suggests at the minimum he thinks he's got another big job in him. That said I've never seen anything to suggest Dein wants another club job. -
