  1. I would prefer he worked on his general passing (which is awful); awareness of team mates (almost non existent); and of course his right foot. He is now crap, but luckily we will get some money for him in the summer.
  2. Any good trainer/educator will tell you that you must work harder on the areas outside of your comfort zones. This is a load of crap.
  3. No need to speculate - he should have cleared the ball and he didn't. BTW Kaizer how would you compare the performances of Aurelio and Riise last night?
  4. I don't want to lecture you RP... Riise is clearly s*** these days. Let's not blame someone till the tie is actually over
  5. Great post Leo. I don't want to blame Riise, but he isn't good enough for LFC. He needs to be forgiven and moved on in the Summer.
  6. We went for the win big time in the 2nd half and had enough chances to finish the tie never mind the game. Aurelio's injury more than the Kalou substitution let them back into the game. We are a team on the up, they are a team that has stagnated and looks about to implode. We are still in this game and will get a result if Torres and Gerrard play well.
  7. We don't need to beat Chelsea. 1-1 gets us extra time. 2-2 wins us the game. We can rest the entire team at the weekend. They cannot.
  8. So much for "you'll never walk alone"! Riise is a red and yes he is crap, but this game isn't over. Please support the team.
  9. Beglin is a Chelsea fan and a c**t.
  10. Masch Carra Gerrard
  11. I was angry when that goal went in, but you know what, he didn't mean to score an og. He has been a good servant to the club. The team has evolved and left him behind so he should go at the end of the season. Please respect our players even after such a disastrous error.
  12. I can't wait to see the Chelsea exodus this summer if Grant stays, although I do fear that they will get a good coach in.
  13. Are we surprised? One rule for us and another for those c**ts!
  14. Pennant was very good, as were Lucas and Masch. Skrtel also had a solid game. Voronin did ok, but is still a little rusty. Finnan, Riise and Benayoun were all poor today.
  15. I asked the question the other day... if it was between Parry and Rafa who would you choose? Looks like the question is more pertinent that I realised. I'm 100% on whichever side Rafa chooses, we would be nowhere without him. The team is close to being at the top... it just needs one more summer of strengthening and a bit of luck with the fixture list. It would be horrible for Rafa to leave just now. I'm not pro-Hicks, good God no... but I would take Rafa and Hicks versus Parry/Dic/and another manager.

    Babel

He should be Torres back up. An option on the left and an option when we want to rest Torres, or replace him with 15 mins to go.
  17. Rooney was also mouthing off quite a bit at the ref yesterday. Officials are c**ts.
  18. Parry is a clown and needs to be sacked. Let us not be hypocrites here. He is the reason we are so far behind United in financial terms. He's messed up too many signings, and our sponsorship deal makes less than Spurs. Rafa and Parry obviously don't see eye to eye, and Rafa would be happy to see the back of Parry. If it comes down to Hicks and Rafa or DIC without Rafa, which way would you all side?
  19. Myles whatever his name is exercising poetic license in the extreme.
  20. I really can't understand support for Parry. He's the guy that found G&H and told us that we should trust him. He almost messed up Gerrard's contract. We got to a CL final and didn't even have a sponsor lined up for the following season, btw our sponsorship is worth less than Spurs. He has ruined a huge amount of transfers due to his inactivity. Rafa and Parry do not get on. Bye bye Parry.
  21. Rafa inherited a squad that had very few good players - (Gerrard, Hyppia, Carra, Finnan). Team morale was at an incredible low, so much so that we had lost Owen and were on the verge of losing Gerrard. We now have a team with many good players (the above plus Alonso, Reina, Skrtel, Agger, Mascherano, Torres, Babel, Aurelio). We still lack quality in a few positions and Hyppia & Finnan are at the end of their careers. Slowly Rafa is building a team and a squad. He has proven that he can get great success in cup competitions. It took Ferguson six years and a hell of a lot of money to build a championship winning side, but those six years gave him the time to rebuild his club from top to bottom. His hard work resulted in their academy producing a squad of players that have represented the bulk of their team for so long it is unreal. Rafa has made us successful in one of the competitions that counts. The other one is still out of reach. The competition improves every year. This is a golden era of Premiership football, and it is extremely tough to win the league - just look at the points now required to win the league. Rafa spent well in the Summer, but so did Ferguson. I think we may need to be patient for another season, but there is a sense that we are building towards something incredible and sustainable. He deserves our respect, faith and most of all our patience.
  22. Does anyone agree that Arsenal appear to struggle to vary their game. They have a plan a, and that is it. They pass the ball well and make very quick breaks from the back which are excellent, but that is about it. They are good, but I believe we are at least level with them as a team. There is only one of their players that I would want at Liverpool and it is not Fabergas, it is Van Persie.
  23. Do we really need supporters with such pessimism?
  24. The Mancs have spent a fortune though to get where they are, but impressively they have invested in players before they reach their peak. Anderson (18m); Nani (17m); Hargreaves (19m); Tevez (? - 20m)... that's close on 80 million in a single summer. They need to replace Giggs and Scholes and they now seem to have the players in place to enable this to happen. This has been very impressive, but it is the kind of spending that only Chelsea can compete with.
