i'd go w/ a midfield line-up of Pennant, Mascherano, Momo, & Benayoun. if i had to choose, i'd have both, Mascherano & Alonso, in my best eleven - w/ Gerrard playing in a more advanced position... all three are world class players that simply can't be left out of the starting team or considered "back-up".
