Reading the thread about the banner claiming 'Italian bizzies are Scousers' got me thinking about the quality and wit of the banners in Istanbul and elsewhere. Wouldn't it be fantastic if when we moved to the new stadium we were able to incorporate a really impressive museum to do justice to our 'storied' history, as George might say. The current museum is very good and a credit to Steve Done, but I'd imagine he's a bit limited by the space allocated to him. A bigger space, with the incorporation of more cutting edge media would be fantastic and could be a serious crowd puller in its own right. A few of my boozed up ideas if you'll bear with me: An enormous wall full of all the best banners down through the years A virtual reality experience of what it was like to be standing on the Kop when it was full to capacity and sucking the ball into the net on a big European night All the Cups, replica shirts and memoribilia from the existing museum A facility where on a regular basis there's fan nights, where for example in years to come the players and staff can give talks about the great nights in their playing careers. Think after dinner speaking without the dinner, with a few thousand fans in and a much more polished production. Looking forward to the Rafa night where he has the hall enthralled by his recollections of his dominance of Europe and putting United back on their f***ing perch Lots of things could be done; for sure we have possibilities, and maybe the club are already looking at this. Think it'd be great though
