Red Yoda

Absolutely, looks a fantastically talented young player.

Real Madrid can jog on.

Yeah very true, the quicker they adapt the player the quicker they get in there.

It would be the perfect scenario for us to sign someone and they immediately drop straight into the team and play but JK definitely seems to be patient with players, he prefers to get them accustomed to our style of play etc, then once they get in there they have more chance of being successful.

Bluff and double bluff.

The smokescreen or Mbappe?

Pictures are doing the rounds of him and family on a plane heading after he said his goodbyes to his previous club.

The Mirror are rehashing a snippet from a Spanish report, saying we are interested in a left back called Junior Firpo (possibly plays for Seville i think) who they say has a £45M release clause in his contract.

Don't think we will sign Dembele. It is so incredibly quiet regarding transfers across all of the teams at present. Once one of two start to happen then I imagine it will just start a domino effect.

Mbappe is absolutely quality and the shirt sales would bring in ridiculous revenue but I can't see it happening.

Some of the passing range shown by Fernandes reminds me of Alonso, those long pin point passes. He also looks to be good On dead ball situations too, another good option. Not ludicrously expensive either if the figures being suggested are accurate. Neither is Ziyech, who seems an interesting option too, due to the fact that he tends to be more of a dribbler and has the versatility to play the wide role within the attacking 3 as well.

Kris Ajer, 21 year old, right footed centre back who plays for Celtic. They seem to regard him as potentially one of the best they have had since VvD. Lovren to Inter = Kris Ajer from Celtic ??

Mignolet has been more quiet recently, which works great, but the issue still stands on quality, he doesn't make the grade. I will astonished if he is our number 2 keeper by the time the season starts.

A point regard to Pepe, from the clips that I have seen, he seems to be very precise and clinical with his finishing. He looks to pass the ball into the net rather than trying to lashing it home.

While Coutinho was with us we saw inch perfect through balls, goals curled in from the outside left side of the 18 yard box, goals scored from free kick just outside the box. If we had him as an option within our central midfielder group of players then it's impossible to say we wouldn't be better because at present we don't have that type of option to hand who has all of those abilities. I think we will buy a player this summer that ticks those sorts of attributes, I honestly don't see that player being Coutinho though. We have an excellent group of midfielders but we do need to add that extra creativity to our midfield.

Wonder ...?

If we are looking to add another midfielder to our choices i wouldn't mind Maddison from Leicester.

Wish them both the best. Time for another stage of our evolution.

They said we wouldn't do it, they said we couldn't do it. To win something you are going to have to play well, graft through games where you aren't playing your best. Throughout all of the games there is only one thing you must do and that is get the required result. Job done.

Could not give a flying fudge about the performance........so proud of our club. Incredible season, hugely deserving of winning the trophy. Wow!

Origi has found his goal scoring touch and some form at the perfect time, but if I had to pick someone to score the winner against Spurs i would love it to be Oxlade Chamberlain, after his showing last season, not expected to play this season after a real nasty injury, works his socks off to get fit again.

If both teams bring their A games .... We win, if we aren't on it then it's difficult to call, they are a very good side. I genuinely believe we will over power them on the 1st.

Origi will cost a fortune, value plus the additional £100M

He has a lot of ability, strong, quick, technically good, can score good goals too, hopefully the penny has dropped with him in regards to what is required for him to cut it here and we can see him push on next season.

Wilson has got good ability and plenty of admirers and he is going to want a reasonable amount of games next season you would imagine. If he was within our squad next season the only way i see him getting a good amount of games is if we have huge injury problems or if he jumps a good cpl of levels in his all round game ability during the Summer. I love to see us bringing through youth players but I unfortunately don't think he will be with us come the start of next season.
