Definately, drivers just make stuff up to make them seem more interesting, they're missing out on all the fun others are having whilst they hang about to take them home! Amazing the amount of stories you hear from club drivers, we must be running some size fleet!

Was always going to be a tough ask from 30 seconds in, even harder after 30, so in some way that was positive! Decent response, and stood up to the battle, which after the last few months is monumental!! Europa cup it is. We should go for it just to f*ck Woy off even more!

Not sure what I'd take for it tbh, sitting in a wardrobe ha!

I've got a signed Blackburn shirt from the league winning team. My dad picked it up from a charity auction. Still dont think he knows who I support 10 years later! If your interested, make me an offer?

Think this should start a revolution in football - football aginst FIFA. They are an absolute disgrace. Way too much power, controlled by so few, affecting so many!! The FA should wake up to their antics, the BBC should do a proper job on them after they shoody expose on them, Sky should put their weight behind it (cant imagine Murdoch is happy either with the Aussie's being sidelined as well), we should restrict involvement of all players, they'll soon miss them, the fans, and most of all the money - thats what makes them tick!! The sooner this lot, plus UEFA are run out the better all round, they will be the death of football, and everyone needs to realise it before its too late!!

give it a rest ffs

settle down mate, just saying.

whats the odds he tries to claim some credit?

went to uni there. Think you're struggle to find a decent pub, let alone one that lets away fans in! the place use to be on lock down on big match days, and they were in Div 2 then. Got a weatherspoons and a few others in Stoke town, but wouldnt recommend them. Use to have the Roebuck (yellow pub left of station). student pub so might not get many footy fans in there which could be a good thing. I'd go straight to the ground if I was going, grim place to hang round.

Maybe a banner with 'Liverpool Football Club' with pictures of Pepe, Stevie G, Torres, and Carra. Let them, owners, manager, and fans know who we feel about how important they are to the club.

Been wondering whether building out the H&G design in some shape or form would be the ultimate 2 fingers to them, or whether we should go back to the drawing board so to speak and start a fresh. I'm mixed over the rebuild or new build arguement, would be happy to sacrifice 5k seats or so if Anfield could be rebuilt to a decent enough standard, but cant really see how it can to be honest.

Also think they got very lucky with timing as it coincided with the Wembley shambles, which meant they picked up a hell of a lot of corporate ST sales, as people didnt want to wait for Wembley to be finished. This also goes some way to explaining the lack of atmosphere there though. definately think some kind of trade off has to happen to justify or sustain the investment, but never to that extent. I know of a fair few people that rushed in and brought these tickets in the "good times", and they are struggling to pay for them for the last 2 seasons, and will definately throw them back once their 4-5 year contract comes up. Agree with what you said about the regeneration project, would be great to see something happen along those lines, but also think we could learn a lot from it, in how to pitch it properly for longer term benefits.

The area wasnt completely derelict, but was a run down industrial zone. An ex colleague of mine worked on the CPO's. It was also a difficult site from an engineering perspective, which needed expensive solutions. They also wont break even when they've sold the flats, but they will certainly go along way to paying back the investment, coupled with huge hospitality revenue means its a more creditable investment. Cant see us selling up to 10000 ST at £4-10k.

Doubt Danny and Rafa ever saw eye to eye, but would put my house on it that Rafa would have been backing him up unlike all the other managers who have hung him out to dry towing the party line!

Did anyone see Jeff Stelling change topic once Tommo got stuck in Fat Sam over the Danny Murphy comments. Thommo wouldn’t let it drop that Fat Sam always has to have his say, especially when 'digging' Rafa out last year with his ridiculous comments. Stelling stuttered and tried to get it back on topic i.e slag Danny off for his comments, and when he realised Thommo wouldnt let it go he moved it on to another game. Typical Sky up to their usual tricks. Rubbish programme, dont know why I bothered watching it.
