I had to move around a bit to try and get closer to a speaker so I could hear what was going on. Still had one gobs**** standing beside me trying to shout s*** up at the stage towards the end. Probably didn't help that lads had been on the batter all day, but still, why pay in if you're not going to listen to what the panel are saying?

Keane was about £3m loss when we sold him back to Spurs iirc. Aquilani was a massive loss, around £13m before you even take wages into account. At the moment we're looking at the guts of £18m loss on Carroll given we paid £35 and got £15.5 rising to £17.5m. Downing is headed for a £12m loss in the best case scenario of us getting £8m from Fat Sam. We've done some awful business in recent years, but Kenny and Rafa are legends both in my eyes.

I had to head off before the end but Neil was asking after it's whereabouts at that stage.
