why is the pressure on the defence so bad? surely its the same as if we score - the defence is still under pressure it just makes goals conceeded more costly - not extra pressue though? The object of the defence is to keep a clean sheet - Reina and co dont switch off if we score one or two... The 'pressure' is on the forwards to score a goal - thats what wins games.

until the forward positions are sorted out then were always going to rely on SG. This season, less so, with the peformance of Alonso and thr reemergence of Kewell. The forwards arent up to it, thats true and until thats sorted we cant judge Rafas Liverpool. We can criticise but until we see what he does in the summer. We were the better team apart from the finishing but that will come. Unfortunately people only see the negative result and not the positives and miss out the direction were heading.
