  1. It would help if the referring in big games wasn't costing us. We played well against City, best we've played against them in years, and got denied a clear penalty in the end. Against Arsenal we weren't given a clear penalty and who knows how that game would have went if we did have. The one clear game we were really poor in, was against Arsenal at the Emirates.
  2. I agree. Ali has and and can produce out of the world saves. I don't think we lost the game because of Kelleher, but it was just an observation on my part. We lost the game because our decision making
  3. It's not a slight at Kelleher, Ali is that good, I see him saving one of those because there's more than enough evidence in his track record, of making saves that most keepers can't. It's a reason he's undoubtedly a world class keeper and there aren't many if any that are close to him, in today's game.
  4. I take back what I said about Rashford winning it for them in regulation, looks like that would have been offside. We needed to be ruthless at 2-1 in front of goal, like we were ruthless in previous years there when we wiped the floor with them. Learned the hard way.
  5. Hopefully no injuries during international break as Darwin,Diaz and Gakpo picked up injuries yesterday per Jurgen
  6. United looked fresher as we got into ET because they were, they had a week to prepare for the game. Even if we rotated the whole side against Sparta, we still have more games in our legs than that lot. That aside, the players that were on the pitch didn't do a good job making right decisions at the right time. It's down on them, even if the subs did not work, the breakaways, and the defending [they could have won it at the end of regulation with Rashford, that was an absolute sitter] was non existent in the latter stages. If Trent was on the pitch, he would have been crucified, for defending. The rigth hand side with Joe and Quansah was an issue all game long. Mo clearly isn't up to speed yet [he still scored], and we didn't stretch them as much as we should have given Darwin's presence on the field. I thought Diaz was the most disappointing player with the ball. All that aside, the game was there to be won, and we presented them the win multiple the times. Kelleher has been brilliant in Ali's absence, but I thought the two goals from Antony and the kid who won it from them, was something that Ali would save They'll get smashed by City in the final non the less, if they make it there, and their whole ''turned corner'' will continue to go on. They'll win sweet fck all. Ultimately, I'll take the 3 points at OT, and if any game was a warning side not to be half-arsed in a winning position, it was yesterday. Having Jota,Curtis and hopefully Trent after the break, will help.
  7. Beating us in 120 minutes doesnt mean they beat us in 90. We had the game in our hand, we threw it away. We dont seldom make that many dumb decisions, let alone doing it multiple times against the same side. The 0-0 was several months ago, this coming game is literaly in a few weeks. If we play like we did from the time we equalized at 1-1 to the 70th minute, we win. But as Jurgen said, you cant leave the door open and give them a glimmer of hope. f***ing pig s*** of a human
  8. Hopefully we use this as an even bigger motivation to wipe the floor with them in the league, in a few weeks
  9. That 5 v 2 breakway we had is one of the dumbest things Ive seen from us in Klopps time
  10. It's criminal that we've let in 4 goals to this lot, but its our doing, mental decisions on the ball and off the ball, had the chances to kill the game, and threw away the lead 3 times. No game management at all. On top of that, we wasted another 30 minutes of it
  11. We're playing to the occasion and not our actual game.
  12. Easier said than done. Salah and Mane are anomalies, especially for the prices we paid for them [its not happening again price wise]
  13. Them being s*** doesn't make the game less difficult, in the 70/80s when we were the top side in the land, theyd raise their game against us. I'll take any win over them.
  14. You never know with the refs in this country. Nothing will surprise me
  15. Top draw, looking forward to it. IF we ge through, the semis will be a great affair
  16. Smash them into next century Kelleher Bradley Quansah Van Dijk Gomez Endo Macca Dom Salah Nunez Diaz
