  1. He was on the bench. So he's back, but it's clear that the coaching staff doesn't want to play him multiple times in the week. We have a game Thursday and Sunday.
  2. Yeah that was a mental moment. He's done well given his age and the quality of the league, but inexperience obviously shows up in some of those moments as you said
  3. I imagine we will have learned a lot from that FA cup fixture against them. We had some uncharacteristic idiotic moments in the last minutes of the game after dominating for about 60 minutes prior to that. I think having Konate back for that game will be crucial because they were causing us problems down the right. I think he's more suited to defend 1 v 1 in wide areas compared to Quansah, against pacier players. I think Bradley does better than Joe as the RB there too and causes them more problems going forward with Salah. We've shown we can go there and win on several occasions [and do it convincingly], but you cant keep the door open for them, with the ability they have on the counter.
  4. City's CL fixtures will make it difficult for them. They got Tottenham, who they always seem to have a brainfart against, Brighton and Villa to play, which could be games they drop points. We also have difficult games away to the Mancs,Bitters and Villa. I don't think City go on to win the remaining 9 games in a row.
  5. One game at a time, and having the likes of Trent,Jones,Jota and Ali back soon will be a massive boost for the run in.
  6. He's been really good the last few months. So important in the run in now
  7. What we paid for him, in today's market is chump change. Really enjoy watching him play, a complete midfielder.
  8. Shame that third goal was offside, brilliant piece of play and then we went brain dead in the last 10 ala v United a few weeks ago. But Brighton are always a pain to play against, and a sharper Salah sees us winn by a few more goals. Any win will do for the rest of th3 season
  9. Gomez nearly gave me a heart attack with his decision towards the end.
  10. Get the f*** in! Also, Coote is a long faced droopy looking c***, t*** of a referee.
  11. Ruben Amorim is now Liverpool's number one contender. [@LewisSteele_]
  12. Thats fantastic news perfect timing.
  13. The problem is Real Madrid , they may be looking for him then as well, Ancelotti has a contract until 2026 but if ALonso is available next year, it wouldn't be surprising if they moved on and went for Alonso.
  14. So it's not as bad as I thought it was
  15. perhaps, Klopp though played 4-2-3-1 a lot in his career, and we know that's changed since his first season at the club. Alonso also used 4-2-3-1 at Sociedad B.
  16. True we did, but we have a larger sample size of that being the rarity than us doing that frequently. I don't know overall how many times they've been battered, but I've seen them as I said get smacked by Everton, lose to Villa 6-1 and Luton 4-0 recently. Maybe I'm just watching them when they lose heavily.
  17. Yeah that's the bit that worries me about him, is he too stubborn in games like that when things are going wrong, or is it just their lack of quality that makes them prone to that.
  18. I'm not going to argue for the sake of arguing, if the stats are correct, than yes that is impressive. I don't pay attention to Brighton and De Zerbi to that extent, to know some of those metrics. I based my opinion on the games I've seen them play, I don't mind being wrong or corrected. My issue is still when I have seen them play, they are up and down. They go from playing like a world class side against us to getting battered by a turd Everton side. But as I said that could be down to his players, the impression I got is that he has only one way of playing and doesn't make the right adjustments when the game is gone, and they end up being battered
  19. That's impressive. I agree with all of that, I'm not saying he should have Brighton higher or anything like that. I'm just concerned about his style of play, does he have the tactical ability to have more control in his side, and are some of the battering's that Brighton have gotten down to injuries they've had and their quality or because he's too gung ho?
  20. If we hire Howe, jesus christ,...
  21. Oh I think they improve for sure, such is the quality of our players, I just don't feel like his sides show enough defensive stability in games, and they fluctuate up and down in performances. Of course that could be down to the quality of the players, but they just had a run of what 1 or 2 wins in 15 games? I'm not exactly sure.
  22. Disappointing but it is what it is. However De Zerbi is not good enough, [the lack of defending in his sides is a big concern] and I'm not sure about his temperament for a club of our stature.
  23. Darwin pictured in training today, great to have him ready for this
  24. Cheers for the correction, mixed up the two of em
