We're doing our best impression of the 13/14 defending we had in our side -

I'd move Salah central, bring Szobo out wide, maybe Jones for Harvey in midfield. -

We're the 3rd best side in the league. If he can't finish in the top 4 with this plus whatever we bring in, then he would have disappointed. -

Castore is such a poor kit maker, it looks Villa were playing in a pool the whole first half -

Diaz, has to improve his final ball. World class at taking players on and driving with the ball, but not good enough consistently with the final pass or decision -

You don't need a top player in every positions, it's not as if Arsenal have top class fullbacks for instance to challenge for the title. If you do, obviously it helps, but even city aren't exactly blessed with fantastic players in those positions [Walker is no longer the player he was, and they consistently use CB's as their fullbacks] When I think of our issues in the squad, left-fullback doesn't hit the top of the list for me. A proper 6 is a must, that helps massively with most of our midfield problems and defending. -

Robertson can still do a job and you can still use Gomez in that position. It's not an urgent area of need. A 6 is a must. One more attacking player perhaps, but no I don't think we need 5 players. Centerback you'll need Konate aside, Matip is leaving, as is Thiago, so undoubtedly you'll have those replacements one way or another. -

I agree, defending needs to improve and we need a 6 still. We arent 5 players away from being contenders again. -

We were in the race not that long ago with the current side. Of course you need to make additions, but we aren't night and day away from another challenge. That's the minimum expectation of this side. -

If we sort out the defending, and stay healthy, we should be challenging next year again -

I mean if you watched the video [he addresses it well and explains why he didn't wait till the end, he was very considerate of the club, and all the people involved that are impacted by his decision] you would understand why I'd consider it a piss take. If you took into account the type of man Klopp has been here, and how he thinks, there's nothing about him that would make your suggestion even remotely possible. e had far too many setbacks to key players, and we pushed on and dealt with it as best as anyone could realistically, I mean we had several young players in a cup final, and had to use them in matches that followed in the league, and somehow got through that without dropping points. That wasn't going to last for the entirety of the season, but ultimately the players that returned from injury, couldn't regain any sort of form, and that impacted us. - Ali has been out for most of the season up until recently - Trent was injured for several months, had a setback with his first return from injury - We've relied on a young Quansah probably more than we ever anticipated this season once Matip got a season ending injury early on. - At one point we had Gomez and Clarke playing in midfield because all of our other midfielders were either unavailable/injured. When the injured players did come back, bar Macca, they were out of form and started to become detrimental to our midfield shape and performances. This has impacted our ability to control games, press effectively and defend better. - Jota who helped mitigate Salah's absence during AFCON and his injury, gets injured twice and in a key part of the season again, when he was playing really well and our most clinical forward - Nunez who was having a relatively impactful season up until his injury, [post his winner v Forest] comes back completely worse off, and his confidence drops severely with each passing game as his performances and decision making becomes more and more erratic. - Salah looks a shadow of himself following his reinjury, which happens at the same time Jota is out, and Darwin is going through a difficult spell. - We've chased games for the majority of our season, before and after the announcement, conceding goals first, and conceding early, which has nothing to do with Klopp leaving, it's been a problem for 3 seasons now. All of these things have ultimately been the biggest reason we're finishing the season the way we are. Now had none of this occurred, and Klopp announced his departure the way he did, and then we had a dip and played the way we have as of late, I could see why you or anyone else believes the decision is what cost us. In reality, we have done really well to bounce from last year, made crucial signings to change the midfield, but we didn't solve everything and we've had too many setbacks that have impacted our ability to finish the season strongly. This is one of the few seasons under Jurgen, that our final 10 games have been as poor as they have been.

I'm not sure if you're taking the piss or not. In the event that you're serious, go back and watch the announcement video that was released, where he explains why he announced it at the time. That aside, based on his character and integrity that he's shown in 8/9 years here, what on earth makes you think that he would do something like what you're suggesting?
-
There was no way he could have kept that information without it leaking.

That Monday following the final I believe. We agreed the deal for Naby in the summer of 2017
-
I hope Leverkusen win it all. Theyve had terrible finishes to seasons in years passed missing out on top trophies
-
Mental, especially as they didnt start Wirtz and Boniface
-
That's got to be some kind of record of how many stoppage time goals they've scored this year
