I know but that's like Everton beating us, and using that as a measurement of their quality. Dortmund haven't won against Bayern in years prior to that. Bayern have given up in the league a while ago. Overall their side lacks massive quality compared to this Real side. It's worse than the difference between us and Milan in 2005.

The problem is social media, and it obviously affects players. Remember when Crouchie had that mad spell of no goals, he was supported in the stands as much as Darwin is now. But at that point, there wasn't social media to deal with for him, and I think it's getting to Darwin's head. There's going to be a lot of pressure on him next year, his 3rd season here, and imo will either make or break him here completely. He's either going improve further, or be this generation's Cisse.

When he's fit and playing regularly, he's a good player. Since his injury he's been poor, but his ability for me has never been an issue, his ability to stay healthy and play consistently is the problem. He can improve of course, hes still a young CB

We aren't going to sell Konate this summer, imo, just very unlikely, as you already need to replace Matip, and potentially add another CB.

Arsenal are better at defending and limiting the opposition when it comes to creating chances and conceding goals. They start games better than we do. Having said that, I think we have the better depth, and better collection of attacking players.

Summs up our 2nd half of this season, inability to defend consistently in matches, and control the game till the end. We either start poorly, or we lose our heads and control when we do start well, it's been driving me nuts since the Prague away match, despite the win that night. Only we would make hard work of a 4 nil lead, with 20 minutes to go. Otherwise I enjoyed it up until that, once the subs were made, the sloppyness and switching off was contagious throughout out the team. Salah looked sharp, Harvey scored a worldie, and Gakpo played well I thought. Nunez at the end there, is a perfect summary of him. Sharp and threat whenit comes to being involved in a goal chance but brainless in front of goal.
