He still started 41 games for Man U this season (and 8 for Scotland). He only got dropped when Ferguson moved Giggs into central midfield. He's one of Scotland best players recently, and a few mates of mine who support ManU are annoyed that he can't transfer his form for Scotland to them.

Scotland win 5-1 Scotland went through a really bad spell post Craig Brown as no new players really came into the setup for years. They've got some really promising younger players now (Burke and Boyd of Rangers have come on leaps and bounds this year and both scored twice today). They've got a fairly decent first eleven now (several of whom were missing today as Celtic wouldn't release players so they could play in a couple of testamonials!). The problem is once you go down the rankings it gets tough to improve as you get drawn in very tough qualification groups. (for Euro 2008 Scotland have to qualify against France, Italy and Ukraine for example)

Barca despise Mourinho though. They just refer to him as the translator now... His antic in the Chelsea Barca games didn't go down well there

It's Pro Evolution Soccer. They don't have the Fifpro license (or whatever it's called) so can't use a lot of the real team/player names. Liverpool are called Merseyside Reds in it

Saw Jim Duffy today saying Rix should have been given more time. While I think Romanov is a loon, I thought his biggest mistake was appointing him in the first place. Decided to check the stats (league only). Hearts without Rix: 11 wins, 2 Draws, 1 Loss. Av of 2.5 points per game Hearts with Rix : 6 wins 6 Draws 4 Loss. Av of 1.26 points per game If Rix had been in charge all season they'd have been in 9th by now If they'd maintained their pre-Rix form they'd be one point behind Celtic (they're currently 17 points back, depite being in touching distance when he took over)

Romanov is an eijit. The biggest mistake was hiring Rix in the first place of course...

Hearts were actually, a couple of seasons ago, one of the worst clubs for shouting sectarian nonsense. I've been to quite a few Hibee's games and they've generally been sound (never seen them play Rangers or Hearts mind). I've been to a few Rangers games this season and some of their fans really are bloody vile. Hearing the whole stadium join in Sectarian chants during European games is just one of the most pathetic small time things I've experienced in football. Didn't know about the South African though, must mention that to some of my mates :-)

Miller started out at Hibs, and was looking like a really promising youngster. Moved to Rangers and got stuffed in their reserves -- the old firm quite often buy decent young players so they can't play against them (allegedly). Hibs would be the more catholic of the Edinburgh teams historically. Not such string ties as Celtic though. Mo Johnson was the first Catholic to play for Rangers I believe. Rangers fans burned their season tickets etc. at the time.

Should be a good move for him, depending on how many dodgy loan players Romanov brings in. I think he'll do well in Scotland where pace isn't always as important for a striker as it is in the Prem. Pity Rix is in charge of Hearts really, they were looking a tidy team before he took over and they converted to mainly kicking people up in the air. Oh, and has a fee been mentioned? I wouldn't trust Romanov when it comes to money...
