He's not though is he. He's won titles in two countries and the FA cup over here. And we get sniffy when people question Rafa's record. yeah. it's natural for a fan to do to a degree. I think we don't factor in how good the other teams are when we plot to take 4th fro where we are. they'll probably win games too.

He's really stepping it up with his finishing. Was an obvious flaw in his game initially. If we surround him with some quality it will mean he can relax more, create more for the players around him who he'll be happy to pass to and he'll have more space.

Some of the stuff that this kid Suarez has done is just off the scale. The goal up at Sunderland in his first season. The run v Manu to set up Kuyt. The goal from 40yds v Norwich and Newcastle. The genius is as much in the conception as the execution

Suarez just needs to keep playing well and not do anything stupid. This however is the kid who bit someone's neck and is constantly at refs (although he may have calmed down) so don't hold your breath. Actually for all the things he's done he gets least stick for biting someone. That's the worst thing he's done by a mile. Even when I'm talking about him to my mates I don't even bother mounting a defence for that.

If he gets his favoured midfield out there and plays with two at the base instead of 1 then Gerrard will occupy that space. If it's just one at the base and Gerrard and Allen pushing on then I think it will be more ineffective than otherwise. This is of course taking into account the opposition strength
