I thought some of Lampard's passing was neat although he gave the ball away twice shockingly. Got in between our lines well a couple of times. You can see why he scores so many he must have had about 6 shots and he was no way offside. He doesn't scare me as a player though. Not enough in his armoury

yeah but i disagree with him that supporter expectations going up has any bearing. It's about what the Real Board are thinking. The papers didn't always have us favourites. And even when they shifted us to favourites it was from the perspective that we could get him if we want him but we don't really want to.

I'm not sure i like owen up top by himself as he can't really offer the "outball" that Cisse can with his pace or Crouch can with his physical attributes. Everything is going to have to be very precise if he is the lone striker.

I don't know how this thread has got so big. It's so so soooooo obvious he's coming home from his statement.
