  1. No. Again. Also no
  2. So I mention regional media, name regional media, and you were banging on about podcasts the whole time Excellent. Glad we sorted that out.
  3. The Ipswich Star, The East Anglian Daily Times, The Eastern Daily Press, The Norwich Evening News, Leeds Evening Post, Newcastle Chronicle, Sunderland Echo and Bradford's Telegraph & Argus (when they were PL clubs).... Basically any regional daily newspaper which covers a single club gets access.
  4. And yet regional papers/media who only cover their local club get access.
  5. Nope, the NUJ is the union. Membership optional. The training is NCTJ. Can also be optional, especially on sport desks. Neither are required to attend a press conference. You just need the permission of the press office.
  6. Why is anyone in Holland reporting that we don't have enough cover? In case they received a big enough reason to have NOT given their word
  7. FFS. At least let the guy get voted in first
  8. People are just fishing for hot takes. It's not punny anymore
  9. Only sometimes?
  10. Klopp disagrees. As do I. He was solid. Oh aye, but he's also said he wants to look at the whole squad. There'll be players he won't have seen much of
  11. Which given he's only started pre-season today would make any moves unlikely for a couple of weeks at least (unless we know someone is off) We're playing the DM in goal
  12. Alexis was getting a lot of praise, Gomez was a revelation in the role, McConnell can play there, Clark's no slouch, Morton is back .... ....and all this presumes we're even going to play with one. Slott might well switch to a midfield two, with both needing to be able to defend and attack. With six players competing for a spot (I'm assuming Harvey will be more part of the attacking three), where are you planning on playing this seventh guy? Apparently they couldn't agree on a payment structure
  13. We already have several players who can cover that position Plus he's either an RB or RW. So why spend money on him to then play him out of position?
  14. And play him where?
  15. No. I'm trying very hard not to use the original post for fear of starting a debate on what "balding" is. Especially as those of a delicate disposition are cleaning showers
  16. "As a matter of fact I’ll bald myself if he wins the league and post the pic here. That’s a promise." - you want to see this? Dominus wossischops 'balding himself'? Whatever that means?
  17. f*** me, I've never wanted us to not win before.....
  18. Are you getting back on your perch?
  19. 1) How do you know he isn't? 2) Jesus wept, seriously....? 3) Because it's irrelevant. He's not s*** just because the league is poor. He might not work out, but the quality of the Erevidise won't be the factor. 4) So you watched some s*** teams. Well done. 5) I didn't say it did. I was illustrating a point you keep missing. That you missed again.
  20. Because, and I hate to break it to you, good managers are good managers. They don't automatically bring success, but talent is talent. Manchester Utd once hired a guy from a "s*** league", to use your vernacular. He did OK. Ipswich are currently managed by a former youth coach. My point, once again, is that you thinking the Dutch league is "s***" and that no one had heard of Slott before yesterday lunchtime is - and I can't stress this enough - irrelevant. You have formed an opinion based on an assumption and stated it as a fact. What I and others have done is some research. Read stuff. Watched stuff. Listened to stuff. And THEN have formed an opinion. Now we all know there are no guarantees in football. Angel Di Maria is a phenominal footballer, but he was bobbins when he played over here. Nathan Jones is an utter clown anytime he tries to manage a club other than Luton. It's what makes the game we love the game we love. You're perfectly entitled to your opinion, obviously, but while you continue to not be able to back it up with anything bordering on a reasonable argument, people are going to call you out on it. Equally, while you continue to not see the irony of you having avatars of players you hadn't heard of before they arrived, I'd expect that to also be a 'thing' for a little bit
  21. Your ability to miss the point is quite beautiful There is so much wrong - and yet, at the same time, right - in this one sentence
