  1. He made 7 appearances for Ajax and seems to be back with us according to TransferMarket
  2. He's not being kept in a locked cupboard ffs. One manager doesn't want to play a player he didn't want, another doesn't want a player who didn't want to be at his club. Neither of which are welfare issues.
  3. Presumably he turns up for training every day
  4. We shouldn't have played him in a game we wanted to play him in because the club he decided was a better bet for pre-WC game time were going to change their minds and so he would need to go somewhere else? Is that the argument here?
  5. Ahh, but for this to make sense we would have to be changing our system - and we clearly aren't changing our system because if we were we'd be struggling with some bad results, players not knowing what to do and others being used out of position due to injuries. And none of that has happened so clearly we bought two strikers by mistake because that's the only thing that makes sense
  6. Our new joint lubrication partner, I believe
  7. Yes, but they seem oddly prone to rust
  8. He's getting taken off to stop him breaking. He'll defo be a 90mins player once we have someone who can share the load
  9. No Hope this helps Played 16 games for them this season Odd that Slot's a factor, given Xabi's coming in any day now....
  10. Would you though? Really?
  11. Consensus in the summer was we hadn't even nudged our PSR ceiling
  12. But only "kinda..."
  13. Well if they want to pay the termination fee....
  14. But he is a Villa player. They pay his wages, he's in their squad, he trains at their ground, he sits in their stands for home games...
  15. We want him back: Villa demand a refund Villa want rid: We get to keep the cash
  16. He could have stayed. All we're doing is honouring the contract. I agree, btw, that he'd play if he came back - but he decided to leave. I also don't think there's anything to be gained by telling everyone we want him back. Would undermine any negotiating we might do/be doing to get him back.
  17. Yes, terrible state of affairs. He's being well paid, gets to leave the house when he wants, can go where he likes. Amazed Amnesty aren't all over this. As Bogman says, Slot didn't rate him last season. That's a man who sees him train every day. Pretty sure Emry said quite early on that Harvey was struggling with the tactics. Now either that was a bluff or another guy who watched the kid every day formed an opinion. I agree that if he had stayed we'd have used him. He would have been ahead of Chiesa. But either he or his dad decided he could walk into a first team elsewhere and we didn't try and stop him. Which we could have. At this stage, given everyone has decided the contract should be honoured, Harvey's got two options - ask for the deal to be cancelled so he can fight for his place here, or get his a*** in gear there and prove to Emry in every training session that he should be starting.
  18. To what end? Blamed for Villa doing well? Slot let him go so everyone would blame that for the slump in form he decided to engineer? He's another young player who has been badly advised and the less he plays the more like Maradonna he becomes
  19. Playing for us? He would be. But Daddy Elliott wouldn't be happy
  20. Refused to shave
  21. So we needed him to save us using two keepers on the bench every week?
  22. He tried and missed. But he REALLY tried.
  23. Evening Arne...
  24. Who are your first three choices?
  25. For the love of.... I've just had to wade through three pages of tedious, off-topic crap about footballers. Can we get back to the point of this thread - who is Molly Mae and how much does Sammy pay to judge the sex ladies?
