Yes they are. they had less room around the stadium to work with that we do. The increase in seating is nearly 20%. If they could do that at Anfield that would take us to 54,000. 60,000 would be better if they are going to bring in way more corporate seats (which they will need to in order to increase the revenue dramatically). Fenway still has the same feel about it as before - if not better because it has has the impression of being even more compact. Add over 10K to our ground and make it more compact and intimidating AND increase revenues? I'll take it... plus the most important thing to me - Its still Anfield!

I'd hope so. Maybe the potential backers got scared off from Hicks... I still think the timing of it was planned to pay off RBS. So this is good news. Either way the funds aren't available to Hicks. Anyone researching him now can't fail to notice that he isn't the most ethical investor of the Century..

The Hicks plan. Take the board decision to court to buy time. Complete the IPO of Hicks Acquisitions II (this week I believe) Fire the current board – put new one in place. Use a loan from Hicks acquisitions II to pay off RBS. LFC pay the interest on the new loan. We are still up s*** creek.
