I just think they all seem totally and utterly confused. All of our starting outfield lineup bar Skrtel and Lucas (who Rodgers tried to get rid of) were not here two years ago. It's like the first day of school out there - no-one knows who anyone is, what lesson it is or where they're supposed to be. The new signings of Firmino, Benteke, Ings, Milner, Gomez and Clyne all started - all 6 of 'em (which is madness in itself) alongside Lucas, Can and Skrtel who returned to a brand new coaching set up at the club with yet more new ideas and ways of training. No wonder it's f***ing mess. Even players who've been here a year, are returning to a 'Year Zero' environment. It's this churn of playing staff added to the lack of any consistent plan that's killing us. As someone asked on here the other day "what's our style of play?" We don't really have one. A lot of the first season passing game has gone, the pressing has largely gone too so we go direct and boot it up to Benteke and then Rodgers has the gall to criticise them after the match for doing that. Last season we started with three of the back four being Manquillo, Lovren and Moreno. One's gone, the next one's s*** and Moreno is now, maybe, a midfield player because he can't f***ing defend. Only Lovren has started while Sahko sits wondering what the f*** is going on. What's it going to be next season? Another new midfield? A completely new attack? Both? Playing 4-2-3-1? Rodgers has to go. It's so obvious. What really worries me is how come I could see this coming at the end of last season yet it was somehow beyond the people running the f***ing club. We need an experienced manager who's a proven winner. Also FSG have to give the next manager more trust. No more of this committee recommended player b******s. Get someone good, back him and see where that takes us, because this approach is spending millions to go backwards.
