Me: Can you speak to xyz and get this email to me. Should take 5 minutes, tops and we need it for today

 

c***: Yeah, no problem.

 

Me: Thanks. We also have a meeting to discuss this stuff at 3:30, don't we?

 

c***: Yes.

 

Me: Excellent. Speak to you then.

 

14:30

 

c***: Just to let you know I can't make that meeting now. It'll have to be next week as I am going home early.

 

Me: Right. Can you send me the email though. I need it today as we have something dependent on it as I said earlier.

 

c***: No.

 

Me: What?

 

c***: It's not going to get done. I'm going home and I have other priorities.
