I wouldn't swap Pepe for Casillas, or any other keeper for that matter.

 

The problem is though, its tricky for keepers to dislodge the number one unless they make a series of mistakes or get injured.

 

That's why Pepe won't start the world cup unless one of those happen. When he gets his chance though, I bet Casillas will have a hard time getting his place back...

Until such time as either Casillas leaves Real or he gets injured, Pepe will still be the understudy, but I wouldn't swap Reina for any other keeper in the world.... the guy oozes class

From what I have seen on TV this season Casillas doesn't seem like he has been in the type of form that would guarantee him a spot. Then again my exposure to him has basically been highlights.

Casillas is in possession and as Leo said it's harder for keepers to dislodge their competitors.

you can't argue with casillas being no.1 but casillas reminds me of shay given ie. great shot stopper but someone who doesn't comand the area well, unlike pepe

 

So basically, you CAN argue with Casillas being no.1?

Dropping Casillas wouldn't make any sense. It's not like he hasn't been very good.
