Has anyone been following this farce? For once I actually side with the inbred!

 

In brief - DP World, a UAE company, has agreed to buy P&O, a British firm, which operates 6 US ports.

 

There has been a huge stink. 67% of Americans oppose the deal; a Republican house panel voted 62-2 to block the deal; the inbred has threatened to veto any attempt to block the deal.

 

The reason? They're Arabs, hence terrorists. Can't be seen to give 'control' of 6 ports to the Arabs. Basically a racist opposition.

 

Do they not see that there is little to be gained by blowing up the ports you control? Nor that port security remains a federal issue, so the US would still control that, nor that the CEO of DP World is American, the UAE is an ally.....
