charlie clown Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 with my new NTL package I watched my first ever SAy game ine th comfort of my own home yesterday. Probably never again. Worse than being in a locked room with Motson. Whoever was commentating did nothing but whinge about how poor Cisse was - should have had a hat-trick, some decent runs in and crosses but you see from how badly he missed his chances you can see why the Liverpool fans are frustrated with him, and why he doesn't get as many starts.... yadda yadda yadda. Now is it just me or did Kewell and Fowler also not have three chances that they each fluffed? Alright Kewell played better owverall than either of the other two, tracked back, worked hard, always willing to look for the ball, but on the specific points the commentator was complaining about Cisse, Kewell's game was more or less exactly the same. Ridiculous.
madaboutlfc Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 I watched the highlights on football first later after coming back from a game pissed off and came to the conclusion Tyler and Gray are best of a pathetic bunch.. the prick kept mentioning about lacklusture performance.. ffs if that was a lacklusture performance what would he have called the Charlton game we lost under houllier 1-0.. we didnt finish but our general play was expansive..
Guest neuklon Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Marwood set out his stall early doors to hammer Cisse and didn't disappoint. As it was I thought Djibril was no worse than any other striker and improved as the game prolonged.

Agenda driven to spark controversy.
Guest Sabre Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 It happens with other teams too. I was listening to the Chelsea commentary on 5Live and they were absolutely hammering Drogba.
chrisbonnie Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 its the usual s*** with Cisse, nobody gives the fella a minute, im not saying he`s Thierry Henry, but he didnt make his price tag, Gerrard Houllier did, and that weight is still around his neck i actually thought he was motm yesterday,
Foo Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Djibril was one of the better yesterday, he hasn't the skills of Maradona but did ok yesterday.

Earl Hafler Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Marwood is useless. From his remarks about other players, you'd have thought he was like Zidane whilst he was playing.
Earl Hafler Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Yeah, he played well. Who was it who put in the brilliant cross, only for Morientes to stand and watch it go by ?
Guest AnfieldGrass Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 (edited) Dunno what youre complaining about, Cisse was rather s****, and another player in his position would have had a hatrick. Did you notice who was offside for Robbie's goal? Wasn't Robbie. Re that cross, watch the replay, it wasn;t Nando's positioning, it was Djib's failure to look up and see where his teammates were. The cross went to noone because he failed to find anyone, typical Cisse rubbish then he complains about a lack of finishing after a useless cross. Djib is as bad a signing as Cheyrou and Diouff. If he is as good as some of you morons reckon he is, where are the fcking goals???? Edited March 5, 2006 by AnfieldGrass
