It's a fine book, my girlfiend is reading it ATM for the 2nd time and is really enjoying it.

A marvellous book. Currently reading Oracle Night.

 

 

I first read NYT years ago and wasn't over-impressed, but due to the amount of kudos Auster gets in this forum I bought Oracle Night last summer and read it on my holidays. Loved it. Fantastic book. So I asked for a load more of his books at Chrsitmas and am currently reading The Invention Of Solitude. NYT is next up on my list to re-read. I think I may have just been in the wrong mood at the time I went through it first time round.

Didn't like New York Trilogy, thought True Tales of American Life was brilliant though. I gave it to an ex who moved over there before I finished it, so will endeavour to buy another copy at lunchtime.
