I was just thinking, what with Rafa denying he's off to Madrid (bloody tabloids) I was wondering, what would people rather hold on to. If it was a straight choice between having Rafa leave and the squad staying behind, or for some reason having the squad broken up but keeping Rafa, which would you rather have?

 

This is obviously a hypothetical, but I was just interested to see what people would prefer.

Rafa is the most important signing we've made since Kenny. A great squad is not necessarily a great team, but a great manager can make a great team from a reasonable squad. No-brainer for me.

Totally agree. Rafa is an outstanding boss but if we're supporting him over the entire squad we may as well just become Rafa fans.

I don't get this question. I mean, what the f***? Rafa on his bill with no squad couldn't do anything, so we'd end up being disqualified from all competitions. At least with the current squad we'd be able to play games!

Yes, it is a bizzare question, but assuming we have sold the squad rather than it getting kidnapped in a twighlight zone stylee, we'll have the money to rebuild, ie Gerrard went to the chavs for £40m, Xabi does a similar thing to Real, JC to South Liverpool (where else would he go?) etc.
