I'd previously said that season starts on 19th August.

I just thought I'd pass on the fact that the fixtures would be known in June.

I was trying to be helpful (for once) and got my dates from here: Telegraph Sports Calender

So that's 12th August for the first league game, unless the tory press are lying to us again.

PREMIER LEAGUE REVEAL 2006/07 START DATE

The 2006/07 Barclays Premiership will kick off on Saturday, August 19.

The full set of fixtures for the 2006/07 Barclays Premiership will be revealed on Thursday, June 22.

It looks like Tory press are lying cos I got the above from premier league site.
