Came home last night to the sound of running water. The cellar is now under 1 and half foot of water! Called British Gas (I have my plumbing unsrance with them). Their guy out and said that he can't do a thing as its a "common water pipe" (I have to stop c***s in my house, one for my water and one that turns the streets supply off) and it s not covered as it before your stop-c**k. Called United Utilities. It's not there problem as it's not the mains and its a "common water pipe".

Turns out its no body's pipe, except me and the neighbours. As the house either side of me now have 1 and half foot of water in their cellars, I've had to tell them their problem ain't mine and to contact their insurance companies. As the pipe is a "common" pipe, the maintance is up to all of us, as is the repair and they'll be receiving a bill shortly.

I can understand British Gases position, my policy clearly states from my stop-c**k onwards.

But United Utilities? Well they can FECK RIGHT OFF, YOU HORRIBLE FECKING C*NTS!! ITS YOUR PIPE, YOU C*NTS, STOP TRYING TO PASS THE BLAME AND PAY THE FECKING COST!!!!!!! :managercontract:

WILL YOU DO THAT? OH FECKING NO! IT'S MY FECKIN' PIPE AND MY FECKIN' PROBLEM!! GO BANKRUPT, YOU B*STARTDS, GO BANKRUPT!!! :banghead:

AS FOR ABBEY? YOU CAN FECK OFF TO! BUILDING INSURNACE WON'T COVER IT AS THE BUILDING HASN'T FECKIN' FALLEN DOWN???????

SOMEONE IS GOING TO PAY, OH YES! :bryanrobson:

Any of you have a common water pipe, you'll find that no one and I mean no one will insure it. Speak to your neighbours and get a written agreement between yourselves regarding costs and access to the pipes. Luckily, the stop-c**k for the street is in my house, so I could turn the water off straight away. If it was in someone else's house and they were on holiday.......... :bye:
