I just discovered that I have become the victim of credit card fraud. Someone used my card to purchase stuff from Microsoft MSN of all places, and once I saw that entry in my bank statement, I was like "Oh s***.":banghead:

I am extremely angry, pissed, even embarassed. Going to the bank and police station, if needed, later with a friend.

I really hope the authorities catch whoever did it. :bryanrobson: Though I will not bet on it.

Only piece of news that will make me happy this weekend is a Liverpool victory.

happened to me a christmas or 2 ago. I keep a tight reign on my finances - I check my statements off against receipts every month - and I had about 1,300 quid's worth of stuff on my CC bill I didn't recognize. Called it in, they asked the usual questions. Funnily enough, my card had been used in Manhattan & London at the same time. Filled out the forms & got the money back.

Odd thing was the blag was all internety based, i.e. the blagger needed a delivery addy
