I know these lads have grown up in the social media age but they'd be 100% better off without it. Virgil talked about blocking out the noise the other night which is virtually impossible for them these days, I expect....well it's not but the vast majority of them are pretty much conditioned to be online.

I was in the swimming baths the other day and there are signs up in the viewing gallery bit saying no phones. Everyone ignoring them, on their phones the whole time. 15-20 years ago you could stop footy players going on social media, you could tell people not to get their phones out at the baths.

The most s***e Mo Salah performance ever, might be the worst I've ever seen him play and then he bangs that in. 

There were signs of life in him in the minutes before the goal too. Hopefully this is the start of his comeback.

Of course but that counts for nothing right now. Lovely goal but he’s as bad as anyone in the league so far this season.

Doesn't mean we keep flogging a dead horse in the meantime. Ship him off to anyone who will take him in January and sign a replacement.

It’s the tactical ineptitude that’s staggering. No plan for the basic stuff we are gonna face. The era of the press is now broken by long balls but teams are still utilising it v us. Brentford and Palace have beat us with a hard working style while the Mancs and Chelsea have beat us and made us look dreck because we’ve emptied the midfield and decided to play our full backs as holding mids and Alexis Mac Allister as a striker.
