New York

Recommended Posts

Off to NY on business next week. Too busy do sight-seeing and my hotel is near ground zero. Fun!

Which hotel? I live right by there

Dial 7

Dial 7 is 212 777 7777

Or Carmel - 212 666 6666

it says it does not open till noon on Sundays.

will it open early for the game?

Jump in a cab to 11th Street. It's 2-3 miles at most & it'll be packed & buzzing for the Mancs whereas other sports bars most likely won't

Yeah, know it - it's literally right across the road from me

Well if I can physically get there (storm-permitting) and I'm not needed on the day, I was planning to watch the West Ham game somewhere.

I'm there for the West Ham game too (weather permitting). Let me know where you're gonna be

You should come, Murph, although I wouldn't fancy your chances with this storm.

..and you should go meet the pussycat that is RP.

Christ.

Haha.

NYRed is possibly going to 11th Street too.

Am I helping you make up your mind on this?

I can only imagine what it's like for you living there. In my mind it looks like Seinfeld's apartment and people are constantly commenting on your accent.

Can you get some workmates round for a photoshoot in your New York flat and post the pictures on here ?

Damn this is going to be awesome. I'm in New Orleans though. Judging by this storm, I don't know when I'll be able to get back.

I'll be there...

What storm? City looks like it's just one big slushy mess. Yet there is still a travel ban in effect and the thruway is shut. Ridiculous. Only place in the tri-state that got badly hit was Long Island. The media here loves to hype up weather!

haha, exactly! They have a travel ban in place! And I am wide awake at this ungodly hour, cos usually the other 'alf has to leave for work. But today - he can't go, cos of a damn travel ban, for 2 inches of snow!
