E-Cigs In Dubai

I'm about to head off for a holiday and will be stopping over in Dubai for a few days before flying on elsewhere, I've read about people being stopped in Dubai for having E-Cig stuff with them so I'm a bit worried about this, has anyone flown into/out of Dubai with E-Cigs before and what is the position? The stuff online is a bit inconclusive to say the least. I dont want to not take them as the temptation to smoke normal ciggies will be too much over a 2 week period but at the same time I dont want hassle on my holiday.

Edit - its for personal use only, obviously I wont be taking a s*** load of stuff, just enough to get through the holiday! - battery, several cartomisers and a battery charger.

Any help / advice is welcome!

Have we had an e-cigs thread before? I've just started trying them out and am bewildered by the options available. I've been trying blu and Njoy disposables, and got a blu starter pack but am finding all the battery charging and swapping a pain in the a***. I'm impressed though - wish I'd discovered these years ago. What kind ogf e-cigs do the forum sages use/recommend?

I had these cartridges that were supposed to be equivalent to about 6 cigs and I'd have to change them once a day or so, ones that don't hit the back of the throat are s*** they need that. Apparently the nicotine addiction is sated before you ever end a ciggie so I don't think you need to do like for like

So did you cut down on use over time or just stop?

I just found myself using it less then sacked it, I think you're used to smoking ciggies so you take as many pulls on the ecig that you did a ciggie then you realise you look like a bit of a t*** and so use it less till you no longer use it at all

I'm using Multi-Cig, it produces a vapour and I find it works better for me than other inhalators, search for multi cig and you will find the site, been using this for about 5 months now without any temptation to go back but if I stopped these now I'd be f***ed even though I have cut the use way down from what I was doing in the first month - a £70 purchase has done me for about 6 weeks now - so £11.50ish a week, at the start I was going through about £25/w, on real ciggies I was spending about £70/w
