Bairstow I am sure will play as England will go down the 4 bowler route they normally use on home soil. Will be a 3 way tussle for 3rd seamer between Bresnan/Onions/Finn.

Big series for Strauss, hopefully West Indies make it a contest-think their bowlers may get some joy but they may struggles with Anderson in these English early summer (its vile) conditions!

Looking at the weather this monring it seems rain is around but will hopefully be after play, andSunday could be the wash-out day............

Gayle is a whore though.A massive waster. You can't tell me he's not got enough dough now.Was never prepared to step up or put in the hard yards when it counted.

Ditto Dwayne Bravo-who's actually just not that good.

A shame-but somewhere somebody needs to sort it.

Who else is missing bar those two? And don't say Pollard.

I don't blame them for going to the IPL, players from other countries do and nobody minds.

Averages just over 40 in tests; 13 tons in 90 matcehs.

It is decent, but my modern standards not exactly stellar.

I get that he can be matchwinner on his day, but I think he gets overhyped.

From ateampoint of view someone like Cook is lightyears ahead (averages 48, 19 tons from 75 tests).
