Loads of reds there, party atmosphere throughout bar a tense 10 minutes.

Defo pen first half, prefect view 20 metres away. Ref was very poor.

Maxi and Suarez electric, Lucas and Jay accomplished.

Having said that, Zamora made a difference, coincided with Raul going off and our midfield lost their way for a bit, lost the men runing from deep for a spell, as they had been unable to do against our runners first half.

Actually felt sorry for Hangeland way before the end. Suarez couldn't have tortured him worse if he'd waterboarded him.

Not much to do about their goals, perhaps Skertl's header could have been better.

Great to see us play that passing high tempo football. Pride in our play and how we play it all over the field.

Anyone who can't sense there's something in the air needs a new nose. Cant wait for next season.

Absolutely brilliant night, the travelling reds never sat down and sang throughout - so proud of the team today superb performance!

:woohoo:

thought tonight was the start of something.... a team missing a few big names, able to dominate 2/3 of the game... the KING is soon to regain his throne, and the pretender form tossland can sod off.

Michael Jackson's statue at centrehalf couldn't have done worse than Hangeland. Safe to say that there will be no 'Brede to Liverpool' rumors from now on.

Was a bit amusing/disgusting to hear all the anti-Scouser 'banter' in the home end before the game too. Then the game starts, they goals start flowing and their team is getting almost literally taken apart and the banter turned poisonous. Definitely a minority but enough Chelsea-lite rude boys to make it pretty unpleasant at times - not only the young fellas either.

One fella got hauled out from the very front behind the goal, the way he was being dragged up and the way several Fulham fans got out of their seat to swing a punch at him all the way up the steps I presumed he was one of ours who couldn't hide his glee after our third. But then I saw him outside after with the Fulham fans so he must have been a bit confused.

I took my daughter last night. She's been wanting to go to a game for a while and we'd planned to go up for the Spurs game, but she has to been down (in London) here for an awards ceremony on Sunday. We didn't have any tickets so we went on spec.

I was giving it the old 'Any spares' for about 30 minutes when we came across a group of Irish fellas by the river .. who sold me two tickets at face value and a cold beer for nothing. Olivia (my daughter) was so excited. She got a scarf, a programme and a hot dog.

Obviously, the goals and the atmosphere were brilliant, but for me it was extra special to be there with her standing on the seat holding my shoulders and cheering the goals and jumping up and down when we scored. A rite of passage for her but a feeling akin to Istanbul for me.

She had her scarf on and her programme in her hand this morning going to school.

The first home game I can ever remember going to was a 5-2 win for us against Spurs back in the early 70s. It'll stick with her for a lifetime.

Ha ha, I know them. I was in the home end so had left the boys in the park.

Great stuff with your daughter, memory for a lifetime.

I can't emphasise how welcome that cold beer was. You can imagine what it's like with a 10 year old in tow and trying to get 2 tickets for a game.. You start out thinking, it's ok.. we'll get tickets. Then buying her an ice cream as people look at you like you're a madman.

Then eureka! the tickets come .. and at face value! . Explaining to the (Irish) lads that it's Olivia's first game... one of them gave her a hug. me a beer and off we go

When we get into the ground, there they are, the guys who sold us the tickets. They were high fiviing Liv doing silly dances. It was a great time....brilliant!

Yes. you're right it'll live in her mind... but mine. too!
