Knee surgery

Recommended Posts

I snapped my patella tendon at Futsal on Wednesday night.

Had surgery on Saturday night. Any tips on what to do during the recovery period that would help wIth the pain?

Some people say keep the leg raised, some say put ice but none of the doctors or nurses mentioned those.

The pain is f***in unbearable and the public health system have sent me home to save on their morphine.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated as would piss taking comments. I need a laugh.

Codeine is the only answer. You'll be away with fairies on those badgers.

Industrial quantities of ibuprofen. Co-drydamol and codeine derivatives will make your sh*t so hard you'll feel you're giving birth. To a glass shard.

If that doesn't work, then there's the inevitable suggestion to man up.

Thanks. I'll look forward to that. I haven't done a s*** since friday so if anyone needs new double glazing windows, place orders now.

With the Mrs just having a ceaserean she's been on all sorts of painkillers. She found the codeine a bit trippy, the other one she was on was Dicolfenac which was quite effective.

Agree with Bailo on the w*nking though, think the thread should have been closed at that point.
