Official Police advice for Unirea Urziceni away

From the official police pre-game visit

At the recent Fixture between Unirea and Glasgow Rangers there were issues that were widely reported and at the pre match meeting both LFC and Merseyside Police stressed how well behaved the Liverpool supporters have been in Europe in recent seasons and requested that the ‘oppressive welcoming’ at the entrance points be altered. There will, it appears be searching at the turnstiles, of which there should be 4 open. Random searches may be carried out...

No special transport arrangements have been made in relation to transporting supporters to or from the stadium, the stadium is in the centre of Bucharest and as with most cities traffic in and around the stadium is slow. Road closures will be implemented. GIVE YOURSELF PLENTY OF TIME TO GET TO THE STADIUM AND ACCESS THE TURNSTILES.

We have been informed that Liverpool supporters will be held back in the stadium for about 15 minutes .No special provisions have been made in relation to supporters leaving the stadium

We have been told that although they are not expecting a sell out that no tickets would be available on the day of the game. Liverpool supporters are advised not to travel without a valid ticket for this event.

More info about the place, check out the FSF guide at:

Did they mention that fans should take a good book and a pillow as this game is likely to be as boring as last week's tepid affair and may well induce comas to those watching?
