Hitting yourself in the face with a pick axe

Building a wall in the my back garden and was digging the trench this weekend. 5 minutes into this thankless task the upswing of the pick axe catches the washing line and spins back round in a spring like motion and hits me full on in the grid.

 

Somehow i managed to keep all my teeth but split lips and mangled gums means that eating and any facial gesture gernally f*ckin kills.
