Amazing.

 

I was chatting to someone a few weeks back and we got to talking about a very sad case that I had become aware of involving a very ill child whose Mother had died recently in an accident etc. Long story but the family is being helped by a small local charity, but it's a real struggle for everyone concerned.

 

I was aware that the bloke I was talking to was extremely wealthy, but that had no bearing in my mind on our conversation at the time - but it seems that he mentally noted the details of our conversation, did some investigation and I have just discovered that he has donated £100,000 to the charity.

 

100 grand. F*** me, what a man. Wouldn't lend me a tenner, I'm sure but I can't blame him for that.

 

I feel good about the world today.
