Merriweather Post Pavilion

[pipnasty]

I know this record has been mentioned before but I think it is too good to be hidden away in another thread about other things.

At the moment, it feels like possibly the best record I have heard for as long as I can remember. I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Animal Collective but I never thought they could do this.

For those who haven't got it - the obligatory Beach Boys harmonies are present, a bit of 'Song Cycle', a touch of the Boredoms, a good dose of white collar psychedelia, a hint of 'The Soft Bulletin' and some of those most incredible tunes you will hear from a long time.

Splendid stuff.

What say you?
