Carnival of Light

[pipnasty]

Anybody actually arsed about McCartney deciding to release this now? Anybody heard it? Did Fyds actually play on it?

There has been quite a bit of stuff in the press recently about Macca and his new Fireman LP. The last one was atricious and this one has mixed reviews. But Macca seems to be making quite a large play for the title of 'The Experimental Beatle'. The quotes at the end of this article sum up what he has been trying to say quite nicely.

So, McCartney - the Stockhausen of Merseybeat or a cultural fraud? Or, shock and horror, a bit of both?

What say you?
